This is, by far, the most recommended approach. Use a free keyword research tool like Ubersuggest to type in a content idea and find out more information about it such as the monthly search volume, the SEO difficulty and so on.
For this example, I am using Ubersuggest, This keyword tool is free and has features to do keyword research and competition research. It also provides questions and ideas when searching for ideas.


To get the best ideas to write about, go for keywords with a lower SEO difficulty and high search volume, such as the last four above.
Once you scroll down, you will come across content ideas that shows some of the most popular blogs ever published on the same keyword. That is a goldmine of ideas for you.

A popular tool I like to use is GOOGLE TRENDS. Google Trends is a website by Google that analyzes the popularity of top search queries in Google Search across various regions and languages. The website uses graphs to compare the search volume of different queries over time. Wikipedia
You can search for popular topics and see if people are searching for the same things. It is very handy to get a list of ideas to build around

When you publish on your blog, you are doing it for your audience, and you need to engage them as well. How do you achieve this?
1. Include social sharing buttons in your post
Install social share buttons for WordPress that lets your readers share your favorite posts on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn and so on.
2. Engage them with comments
After publishing a post, you may want to know what your readers have to say. Some of them may have questions you need to address. So, it is always recommended that you enable comments.
Just remember to moderate all comments to avoid spam. Not to mention, reply to all comments.
3. Publish content your audience would like to read
